Rare Vintage Double Rally Timer – Stadion Super "Reverse Panda" with Original Hanhart Clips. A high-quality mechanical double Rally Timer for classic rallying. This professional set consists of two Swiss stopwatches from the renowned brand Stadion, mounted on a black metal dashboard panel. This set is the ultimate period-correct addition for the dash of iconic classics such as a vintage Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Austin Healey, BMW, or other historic sports cars. Equipped with Original Hanhart Clips: What makes this specific dashboard set especially attractive to collectors is that the panel is fitted with two original, vintage metal Hanhart mechanical clips (mounting brackets). Hanhart instruments are leading in historic motorsport. These original clips hold the stopwatches vibration-free in place and make it possible to easily detach the instruments via the well-known "slide-in" technique. The Sought-After "Reverse Panda" Dials: Both Stadion Super stopwatches feature the beloved "Reverse Panda." The deep-black dials strongly contrast with the white 30-minute registers and the bright orange central second hands. This specific color scheme originates from the late 1960s and was designed at the time for optimum readability under heavy rally conditions. Technical References & Specifications: • Brand: Stadion (Swiss Made) • Model: Super (Late 1960s) • Movement: Mechanical Swiss lever movement (7 Jewels) – probably the famed BFG 411 caliber. • Protection: Certified Shock-Resistant (rugged enough for historic rally stages). • Functions: 1/5th Second recorder with a 30-minute register at the 12 o’clock position. Condition and Application: • Mechanical: Both timepieces are in very good, perfectly functioning condition. Start, stop and reset functions operate smoothly and the hands reset exactly back to zero. • Aesthetic: The chromed cases, crystals, and dials are in a beautiful, authentic vintage state with only minimal, age-appropriate signs of use. • Dashboard Mounting: The panel features mounting holes in the corners. This makes it an excellent upgrade for the cockpits of classic sports cars such as a vintage Porsche (356 / 911), Alfa Romeo (Giulia / Bertone), Austin Healey or BMW 2002. A rare and complete set that is not often offered in this configuration with the original Hanhart clips. Perfect for the historic rally driver or collector.
