Cocktail rings were once considered rebellious because they made a clear statement: In the 1920s, ladies in the USA wore these large pieces of jewelry at parties where alcohol was served despite Prohibition, often disguised in colourful cocktails. Prominently placed on the index finger of the left hand, the message was clear: look, I'm having fun and I know how to enjoy life. Today there are no more illegal cocktail parties, at least not for adults - but large cocktail rings are still "statement pieces" today and, with their often lavish trimmings, stand for good-humored luxury. Today, they are no longer only worn on festive occasions such as red carpets, galas or award ceremonies, where they glitter and sparkle on the fingers of prominent ladies, but whenever you feel like it! The high-quality aquamarine in this ring glitters and sparkles like the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. The impressive stone weighs around 25 carats. The aquamarine, which is faceted as an elongated octagon, is only held in place by four discreet prongs, creating an impressive setting. The stone has a strong color and perfect clarity that makes it particularly desirable. Four white diamonds add light accents to the design and enrich the piece of jewelry with elegant highlights. The ring was created around 1960. We have had an independent appraisal carried out, which confirms the quality of the materials used. Immerse yourself in the light turquoise blue of this gemstone and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of this first-class jewel.
