Sparkling Vintage Platinum Ring with 4.87 ct Natural Brilliant, c. 1960

A diamond ring like this large solitaire is all about emotions. If it is given as an engagement ring, it completes a series of dreamy excursions into the realm of fantasy that once began with the first toy ring as a child. If, on the other hand, you give the diamond to yourself as a gift, for example on a very personal occasion, it will always remind you of that special moment, which can always be recreated in your memory when your gaze is lost in the sparkle and glitter of the stone. Beyond reverie lie the facts. This ring holds an impressive 4.87 carat brilliant-cut diamond in its center. Its color has a very light yellow tint and is pleasantly warm. Its purity is first-class: The diamond has been classified by two independent institutes with the clarity grade "vvsi", meaning it has no inclusions that are visible to the eye and only very difficult to see with a magnifying glass. The very good cut and polish ensure that the stone is extremely brilliant. The large solitaire is set in high-carat platinum, allowing plenty of light to reach the sparkling diamond. The setting with its airy structure has been crafted by hand. Due to its elegant, architectural shapes, we date the ring to around 1960. There are two independent appraisals for the diamond and the ring. They are supplied with the ring.
