SOUTHERN AFRICA 9th Dec 1931 Experimental flight London to Cape Town. The first regular service between London and Cape Town was due to start on 20th Jan 1932. This experimental flight was to survey the route that was to be taken by Imperial Airways. Seven covers, one each from London, Ireland, Belgium, Kenya, Sudan, Northern and Southern Rhodesia that were all at some stage on this flight.
