SONA (1989) - Custom chair (Urban Collection) 7/15

The Artist: SONA Originally from Paris, SONA is a committed artist whose creative essence draws its roots from the pure subversion of the underground graffiti movement, having forged his first tools in the arteries of the Paris metro. Over the years, SONA has built a prolific and radical body of work, passionately pushing the frontiers of urban expression. His singular aesthetic and bold vision quickly elevated him to a key figure on the contemporary scene. Deeply rooted in artistic activism, SONA orchestrates striking urban interventions. His work questions established dogmas and denounces the derailments of contemporary capitalism. His art, resolutely subversive, asserts absolute freedom of expression in the face of a surveillance society. He is currently waging a fierce battle against the growing hegemony of artificial intelligence in the art world. Beyond his solo achievements, SONA is an active member of the avant-garde collective NBZ (Notre Belle Zone), a reservoir of artists elevating street art to a true societal mirror. Represented by prestigious galleries in France and Belgium, his work has managed to captivate and win over collectors around the world.
