SOLIDO - FRANCE (2) 42 RENAULT 4 F6 van, set of two versions: - JACQUES CHIRAC, yellow, a model released to promote the five candidates in the 1978 presidential election (there are actually seven models if you count the two F. MITTERRAND versions resulting from a spelling error and the two color variations for Coluche). Paint and decals are in mint condition; slight yellowing on the bumpers. A. - TILBURY, green, a promotional model for a model car shop in Grenoble; the shop’s owner, who commissioned these models, was a well-known figure in model swap meets until fairly recently.
