SKEPA - L'arlequin

- Numbered edition of 10 copies and hand-signed on the back of the work - Giclée on canvas mounted on a stretcher in the artist's studio - Hand-signed certificate of authenticity Skepa is a French artist born in 1978, painter and sculptor, cofounder of the BAFO movement. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, he began his artistic practice with graffiti alongside Jone Hopper in the early 1990s. His work is rooted in a free and instinctive approach, nourished by urban culture and contemporary visual research. Over the years, his painting has evolved toward a rougher, more expressive writing, blending abstraction, free figuration and the energy of gesture. Known for a singular and immediately identifiable universe, Skepa develops a powerful and vibrant body of work regularly presented on the international art market.
