"Totoro no Yoru" – Ultra Limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection Edition number: 01/10 Artist: SKE Artist Instagram: ske_shakeyourart Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris Premium art paper – ISO A2 format (59.4x42cm) – Signed, numbered – Certificate included Sometimes all it takes is a night, a branch, and a silence for an entire childhood to rise to the surface. In Totoro no Yoru, Totoro dominates the scene without overacting. Sitting opposite a huge moon, he shares this suspended moment with Satsuki, Mei, and the little white Totoro. Around them, cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, the silhouettes of a Japanese village, and the reflections on the lake transform the branch into a balcony opening onto a dreamed-of Japan. What touches here is not only the reference to My Neighbor Totoro. It’s this very precise sensation that those who grew up with this universe know: the forest becomes a refuge, the night is never truly frightening, and the strange can still be gentle. SKE reclaims this collective memory and tilts it into his own language: composition inspired by Japanese prints, bold flat colors, printing texture, monumental calligraphy, and contrasts between deep blue, ivory, black, and red. Pop culture thus meets Japonisme without becoming a mere nostalgic image. Totoro no Yoru is designed as a piece to look at for a long time: first for the icon that is immediately recognizable, then for everything the image awakens behind it. A work for those who have never really left the forest. Features: • Limited edition of 10 copies • Printed on premium art paper • ISO A2 format (59.4x42 cm), easy to frame • Each copy signed and numbered by SKE • Delivered with certificate of authenticity • Protected shipping, reinforced packaging A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship element of your collection. - FRAMING TIPS Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, remove it carefully and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in do-it-yourself or decoration stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they perfectly showcase the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works. He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master competition (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October and also featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, solidifying his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also making a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and textured plays characterize a style now indispensable. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with growing value. Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversiveness of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to twist Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), as well as Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His paintings capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes evoking the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
