SKE - Goldorak Secret Files - 02/10

"Goldorak Secret Files" Ultra-limited edition, only 10 copies. Artist: SKE Artist Instagram: ske_shakeyourart Theme: Goldorak, Japanese animation, cult robot, pop culture, vintage manga, 70s/80s nostalgia Format: A2 Technique: Fine art print on museum-quality Hahnemühle paper Edition: 02/10 Artwork sold unframed There are heroes we watched. And others we would have liked to know all the secrets about. Goldorak - Secret Files transforms the icon of an entire generation into a confidential technical dossier. On a deep blue background reminiscent of the old design boards, Goldorak’s monumental face dialogues with his complete silhouette, the Spazer, the handwritten annotations, the scale figures, the schematics and the construction lines. Everything seems to come from a forbidden archive that we’ve finally managed to open. Nostalgia is immediate, but SKE does not merely reproduce a memory. He treats Goldorak as an object of culture become almost archaeological, sufficiently mythical to deserve its own blueprints, its own codes, and its own secrets. The iconic colors – blue, red, yellow, black – emerge in the middle of the technical drawing and give the piece a tension between mechanical precision and pop energy. Actarus, Goldorak, and the Spazer become here fragments of a collective memory, reinterpreted with SKE’s graphic handwriting, at the crossroads of pop art, street art, and contemporary fan art. This is not a simple nostalgic image to hang on the wall. It’s a piece designed for someone who recognizes the reference at first glance, who loves the details others don’t notice, and who wants to add a Goldorak to their collection that you don’t encounter everywhere. SKE’s signature seals the file. It’s up to you to decide whether it should stay classified as secret... or join your collection. - FRAMING TIPS Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, remove it carefully and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally returns to its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available at hardware or home decor stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminium frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they perfectly showcase the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up immersed in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double readings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October; he also received a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, solidifying his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also making a mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the last couple of years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play characterize a style now indispensable. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to begin or enrich a collection with rising value. Awarded & Recognized Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work follows a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: he revisits classics, not hesitating to détourne the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to juxtapose them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy universe, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), via Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art with textured finishes that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior. Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
