The scene places a graceful female figure in the foreground with her back to the viewer, whose dress and silhouette are resolved in a bold mosaic of primary and secondary colors — reds, blues, greens, and oranges — accompanied by an interior still life with flowers and fruits. The frame of the blue gates opened acts as a window to the outside, creating a captivating spatial transition toward a coastal landscape of tranquil waters, sailboats, and picturesque houses with red-tiled roofs under the sun, achieving a perfect balance between the geometric abstraction of the interior space and the lyrical figurativeness of the seascape horizon.
