48 pages, hardcover in gilt-stamped boards, 10" by 6 3/8". Printed at the Chiswick Press in a limited edition of 550, this copy numbered 354 and signed by L.A.G. Strong in front. Ultra-scarce book by Strong, distinguished by a frontispiece illustration of a woodcut by British artist and eccentric Tirzah Garwood. That frontispiece alone - excised from the book - is offered at English auctions with a value of 300 to 400 pounds. Interior of book clean and unsullied, binding firm. Light sunning to top and bottom edge of cover and spine, gilt titling still bright.
