8vo 8" - 9" tall; 340 pages; [SIGNED] 1946 Kansas State Board of Agriculture. HC. 1st edition. Signed by the author to the title page. Soundly bound in royal blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to spine and a color pictorial panel of a meadowlark mounted to the upper board. Mild wear to board edges and corners. Light dusting to page edges, including a few pen lines to the bottom edge. Light damp ripple to the bottom third of the first 50 pages. Otherwise contents clean and bright; no marks. Illustrated with b&w illustrations and color plates. G++; Author Signed by Author
