EASTLAKE, Sir Charles Lock (1793-1865). Autograph note signed in the third person to Dawson Turner, declining an invitation to the Athenaeum. 7 Fitzroy Square, 10 August 1843. Single sheet, 95 x 110 mm, written on one side. Near fine. Eastlake conveys his compliments to Dawson Turner and thanks him for his note, explaining that he is unable to attend at the Athenaeum for several days.
