It is a Louis XVI-style serving cart from the first half of the 20th century, but with a surprising fidelity to the language of neoclassical French. The wooden frame, finished in a warm, polished tone, rises on four straight uprights capped with small turned balls, a direct nod to the ornamental sobriety of the style.
