Special two-sided vintage Citizen ship clock, produced circa 1980–2000. This type of clock was used on board cargo ships and supertankers as a so-called slave clock. The slave clocks were controlled from a central master clock and were part of the timekeeping system on board. The clock has a distinctive maritime look and is made of glass, metal and oven enamel. The housing features the characteristic green color that was widely used in maritime equipment. Specifications: * Brand: Citizen * Period: circa 1980–2000 * Type: ship/slave clock * Material: glass, metal and oven enamel * Dimensions: 25 × 22 × 15 cm * Drive: quartz * Power: 1 × AA battery The original movement has been replaced by a quartz movement that runs on a single AA battery. This makes the clock immediately functional and suitable to be used as a decorative wall piece. A beautiful and characterful object for collectors of maritime memorabilia, vintage ship interiors and industrial design. The photos used in the advertisement are stock photos. The actual clock may differ slightly. The clock is carefully packaged and shipped with Track & Trace.
