Special vintage Citizen ship's clock, produced around 1980-2000. This type of clock was used on board cargo ships and supertankers as the so-called slave clock. The slave clocks were driven from a central master clock and formed part of the time-keeping system on board. The clock has a distinctive maritime look and is made of glass, metal and oven enamel. The housing features the characteristic green color that was widely used in maritime equipment. Specifications: * Brand: Citizen * Period: around 1980-2000 * Type: ship/slave clock * Material: glass, metal and oven enamel * Dimensions: 21 × 21 × 8 cm * Drive: quartz * Power: 1 × AA battery The original movement has been replaced by a quartz movement that runs on one AA battery. This makes the clock immediately functional and suitable to be used as a decorative wall piece. A beautiful and characterful object for collectors of maritime memorabilia, vintage ship interiors and industrial design. The photos used in the advertisement are sample photos. The actual clock may differ slightly. The clock is carefully packed and shipped with Track & Trace.
