Sheep at the Wiembecke Hornoldendorf. by Gary Westall Painting 19.7 x 15.8 :: After our painting trip to the Externsteine we looked for a new place to paint; we drove to the Wall Oak monument in Hornoldendorf and looked at possible painting motifs. While we were exploring the area I spotted these sheep drinking from a bridge over the Wiembecke. I immediately knew that this was my motif. Due to a storm we were unable to paint as planned the next day. So I created the picture in the studio. Signed bottom right. Oil on cotton - 50 × 40 cm. Attention!
