Sheaffer - Triumph Imperial (Black Resin) - Plumín Inlaid...

A0000005256 SHEAFFER Triumph Imperial Fountain Pen (USA, circa the 1990s): We present at auction a magnificent representative of retro-modern design: the Sheaffer Triumph Imperial. Launched in the 1990s, this collection was created to revive the glorious iconic lines of the Imperial pens from the 1960s, adapting them to the demands of the contemporary user. The instrument features a sober and extraordinarily elegant high-gloss black resin body, contrasted by a generous wide cap band gold-plated. The clip proudly bears the traditional "White Dot"—the historic hallmark of Sheaffer’s unconditional quality. The true spectacle of this piece is its Inlaid nib (nib inlaid into the grip section). This diamond-shaped design is one of the most famous aesthetic feats in watchmaking. It is executed with a generous 23-karat gold plating (clearly engraved on its surface) and offers a writing experience that is fluid, crisp, and very secure. It operates with the practical standard Sheaffer cartridge or converter system. Condition (Expert Review) This is an instrument that has been used regularly, preserving a superb overall aesthetic: Resin and Metals: The black body and cap retain a deep shine, showing the inevitable micro-scratches ("hairs") of normal desk use, without cracks or fractures. The wide cap band is in very good condition. The clip shows signs of surface wear and edge rubbing, common from pocket contact (see macro photographs). Nib: The 23k gold-plated Inlaid nib is in superb cosmetic condition, with the tines perfectly aligned and the iridium present. (Expert note: It ships cleaned and without the original case nor included converter/cartridges). Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packaged, with insured shipping and an international tracking number. A great opportunity to add to your desk one of the most beautiful and famous nib designs in the history of writing, ideal for daily, elegant use! Best of luck to all bidders, and may we have an excellent auction!
