Serving trolley - Travertine - Regency Hollywood

Sophisticated Hollywood Regency-style side table produced during the 1960s and 1970s, a piece with pronounced neoclassical inspiration that combines the glamour characteristic of this decorative movement with ornamental references inherited from French Regence taste. Its design stands out for the richness of sculptural details and the elegant interaction between gold metal and crystal and stone surfaces. The structure, made in brass or bronze with a gold finish, features refined work of curved lines and stylized proportions. The vertical supports are joined by decorative arches topped with shell motifs and vegetal elements, ornamental resources deeply linked to the French classical repertoire and frequently reinterpreted by Hollywood Regency designers. Delicate verdigris patina accents on some reliefs highlight the decorative volumes and add visual depth to the set. The top panel is crafted in thick oval crystal, with a polished edge and a solid presence that contrasts with the visual lightness of the metal framework. At the bottom, a circular platform clad in light stone or travertine provides stability and adds an attractive contrast of textures and materials, further elevating the piece’s luxurious character. The combination of crystal, gold metal, and natural stone perfectly reflects the opulent and theatrical aesthetic that defined the interiors of the most elegant decades of the sixties and seventies. Ideal as a side table beside a sofa, as a support for decorative lighting, or as an accent piece in an entryway or living room, this model delivers a distinguished and timeless presence capable of integrating into both classic environments and contemporary interiors seeking a vintage sophistication note. Certified shipping and careful packaging.
