All auctions / Contemporary Art / Sergio Romero - ANNAEH "XXL"
Handmade work, in acrylic on canvas and crafted by hand; in no case does AI modify or alter the reality of the artwork. The real estate environment surrounding the painting in some photos is a model created by AI, without harming or modifying the artwork and faithful to the utmost reality. Presenting a striking piece of geometric abstraction and linear expressionism, characterized by an intricate network of fine acrylic brushstrokes on canvas. The work is born under a state of pure automatism, a kinetic process where the canvas remains fixed on the table while the artist moves and physically rotates around it 360 degrees. This fluid and intuitive action breaks with traditional perspective and stops completely only when the creator's body experiences a firm 'feeling of non-movement'. Although executed unconsciously, the result reveals a rigorous order. The artist innately applies the proportions of the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio (Fi) to the surface. Dense visual masses, thick black strokes, and the insertion of blocks of pure color converge with exactness at the tension axes of the golden rectangles. Because of this peripheral dance during its creation, the piece possesses a perfect, omnidirectional balance in all its angles, consolidating itself as a fascinating dialogue between physical impulse and universal geometry. Sergio Romero's trajectory over six years has been international, exhibiting in major cities across Europe, New York and Miami. The work comes with a certificate of authenticity and is delivered as the canvas rolled in a tube.
