Pigment of Nature arises from the meeting of pure earth pigments and techniques that allow color to blend delicately with the surface. The shades develop fluidly and harmoniously, creating soft and deep transitions that recall the natural rhythms of matter. The color does not appear as a blot; it is a breath that expands slowly, guided by the artist’s emotional intention. Each variation of tone is irreplaceable and preserves the essence of the natural pigments from which it comes to life. An essential and sensitive work, where earth, color, and feeling meet to shape an intimate and authentic balance. Shipping and presentation: The work will be shipped FRAMED, carefully packed to ensure maximum safety * Original piece signed by the artist, accompanied by certificate of authenticity. This work is made on canvas without a frame and is shipped rolled to ensure maximum safety during transport. WARNING: *The canvas is not treated with plaster or primer, so it is a raw and natural material. *Should not be stretched excessively during framing to avoid alterations in the texture and in the rendering of the natural pigments. *Do not use the stretch system, as it could compromise the stability of the work. *It is advisable to entrust an expert frame maker for optimal mounting. The artist develops a visual research that investigates the threshold between the real and the interior, between the figure and its dissolution. Through painting that is instinctive yet controlled, her works tell of the human being at the moment of losing oneself, fragmenting, and transforming. The painting matter, unfinished marks, and spills become emotional language: they do not represent, they evoke. Each face, each trace, is a fragment of presence that resists oblivion. Her style, recognizable for the tension between figuration and abstraction, places her in the panorama of Italian contemporary painting, in dialogue with themes of identity, silence, and metamorphosis. Her works transmit an inner and universal strength, capable of speaking directly to the viewer. Serena Grassetti is a contemporary Italian artist. She lives and works in central Italy. Her work stands out for a deep and personal exploration that unites natural materials, pure colors, and instinctive gestural actions. Serena is described as sensitive, innovative, and emotionally powerful. Through the use of natural pigments, earth, charcoal, and raw fabrics, she creates abstract and textural works that speak of wounds, memory, and inner transformation. Her style oscillates between painting and visual poetry, with recurring elements such as white spills, incomplete faces, and layered textures, making each work unique and recognizable. She Exhibits in solo and group shows, in Italy and abroad. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is born as part of a journey of intimate and sincere research. The work, realized with mixed techniques and natural pigments, contains the chromatic power of one who knew how to transform the painting gesture into pure emotion, in a search that spans time and the market of contemporary art. Among the depths of color, one senses the same tension that made Francis Bacon’s brushstrokes iconic, the gesturality of Jackson Pollock, and the introspection of Lucian Freud. A piece that fits into the panorama of modern art for collection, perfect for those seeking a work of strong emotional impact, capable of dialoguing with the visual energy of galleries in New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, where names like Basquiat, Rothko, and Gerhard Richter left their mark. A piece destined for those who understand the value of an art that goes beyond form, penetrating the heart of human expression, as Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele did over time. The dynamism of the brushstrokes and the depth of the mark make this canvas a perfect investment for collectors and lovers of fine art, always seeking unique pieces capable of fitting among the greats of Pop Art and conceptual art. A unique piece for art collectors, perfect for galleries and investors seeking luxury art and works likely to appreciate in value over time. In a world dominated by pop artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy, and Kaws, this work stands out for its use of completely natural coloration, which makes each piece unique and unrepeatable. An exclusive alternative for those seeking contemporary art with a distinctive and authentic signature. The works have been presented in local, national, and international exhibition contexts, contributing to the definition of a coherent and distinctive visual language.
