Impressive specimen of crystallized gypsum (selenite variety) on matrix, characterized by an extensive three-dimensional formation composed of numerous translucent and milky-white crystals of different sizes. The sample stands out especially for its considerable dimensions and a weight of about 15.40 kg, which give it a strong dramatic presence. The crystals display tabular and prismatic shapes, with interesting variations in transparency and numerous secondary crystalizations distributed on the matrix.
