Remarks This Seikomatic offers a highly attractive silver sunburst dial and a beautifully preserved dolphin caseback medallion. Powered by the reliable caliber 6206B, it represents a strong example of classic 1960s Japanese design. History The Seikomatic line represents an important era in the development of automatic watches in Japan, bringing sophisticated mechanical features to a broader audience during the 1960s. The introduction of the caliber 6206 brought the day-date complication to the Seikomatic family, notably utilizing a distinctive six o'clock position for the day window. This movement architecture paved the way for many of the brand's highly successful automatic models, cementing the Seikomatic as a significant milestone in mid-century horology.
