Sea Urchin Tower - Elegant Assembly of Marine Skeletal...

Decorative Sculpture Made with Natural Echinoid Shell — This extraordinary artistic composition elevates the natural shell of the sea urchin to a refined sculptural work. Six specimens of sea urchins, carefully selected for their integrity and the variety of their delicate pastel tones — ranging from pale pink to delicate lilac — have been harmoniously stacked to form an elegant tower. Each shell displays its intricate surface structure, characterized by a multitude of tubercles that once supported the spines, a testament to nature's geometric perfection. The natural elements are interspersed with elegant brass spacers, which add a touch of metallic sheen and stability to the vertical structure. The brass, with its golden finish, creates a sophisticated contrast with the matte tones and organic textures of the shells, giving the whole an aura of preciousness. The sculpture is crowned by a small brass tip that emphasizes its verticality and completes its harmonious aesthetics. The base, organic in shape and made of a dark, opaque material, provides solid support and further textural contrast, recalling the depth of the sea abysses from which these fascinating organisms come. This combination of natural elements and artisanal crafts transforms a simple biological specimen into a design object, able to catch the eye and stimulate contemplation. An work that celebrates the intrinsic beauty of natural forms, reinterpreting them through a modern and refined aesthetic. It is an ideal piece to enrich a contemporary Wunderkammer, a study, a living room, or any environment that desires a unique decorative accent that speaks of the sea, art, and design.
