Ca. 500 BC. An iron sword with a broad double-edged blade tapering to an elongated point. The blade has near-parallel cutting edges in the upper section, then narrows steadily towards the tip. A short rectangular tang extends from the shoulders and ends in a simple bar pommel. For similar see: E. Maniotis, D.
