Sculpture

An exceptionally expressive set of three sculptures in solid cast iron, executed around the timeless theme ‘Hearing, Seeing & Silence’. The three individual figures each depict their own gesture: covering the ear, placing a finger over the lips, and covering the eye. Together they form a powerful and recognizable triptych, with a raw, almost archaic appearance. The deeply worked facial features, hands and irregular casting texture give each sculpture a pronounced character. The sculptures are made of heavy cast iron and have a warm rust-brown, weathered patina. This surface emphasizes the industrial and sculptural character of the set. Beautiful as a statement piece on a sideboard, in a loft, office, hallway or artistic interior. * Set of 3 separate sculptures * Material: solid cast iron * Color/patina: rust-brown * Dimensions per sculpture: approximately 29 × 13 × 9 cm * Signature: unsigned * Condition: excellent; the visible patina and casting texture are part of the artwork’s look Shipping is possible. The sculptures will be individually and carefully packed for safe transport. Pickup in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, is of course also possible.
