Sculpture, Bassotto - 12 cm - Glass - 2026

The Dachshund: Iridescent Elegance in Murano Glass The Soul of Glass, the Fidelity of Form Born from the technical mastery of Master Fabio Tagliapietra, this dachshund is not a simple sculpture, but a play of reflections and transparencies that captures the lively essence of one of the most beloved breeds. Each piece is a unique work, shaped entirely by hand through lampworking, where the flame turns raw material into pure visual emotion. Technical and stylistic details: ● Color Technique: The body features spectacular iridescent shades ranging from warm amber to cobalt blue, creating a visual dynamism that changes with ambient light. ● Sculptural Base: The figure rests on a solid black glossy glass base, designed to enhance color contrasts and give stability and prominence to the work. ● Craftsmanlike Expressiveness: The details, from the long, sinuous ears to the slender tail, attest to the Master’s meticulous attention to proportions, giving the subject a proud yet playful character. A Collectible Piece Perfect for those seeking the authenticity of true Venetian craftsmanship, far from industrial production. This creation represents the ideal balance between contemporary luxury and millennial tradition, making it a refined decorative element or a gift of priceless symbolic value.
