Sculpture, Bassorilievo Tempus Fugit - 18 cm - Cast Stone

A particular bas-relief representing the importance and the fleeting nature of time with the Latin motto "Tempus Fugit" in all its uniqueness, and an hourglass with wings that signals the inexorable passing of life and the speed with which time wears away, suggesting that every moment is precious and will never fully come back once carved by hand. "Tempus fugit" is a Latin phrase literally meaning "time flies", also rendered as "time flies away". This expression comes from a line in Virgil's Georgics, which reads: "Sed fugit interea fugit irreparabile tempus", meaning "But it flees meanwhile, irreparably time flees". The phrase is used as a reminder of the fleeting nature of existence and the importance of seizing the moment, a concept similar to Carpe Diem. Great for motivating and dynamic environments.
