Sculpture

“Tanara” is an elegant bronze sculpture inspired by Demetre Chiparus (1886–1947), one of the most recognisable sculptors associated with the Art Deco movement. The composition evokes the glamour, theatricality and refined aesthetic of the 1920s, capturing the decorative elegance that continues to make Art Deco sculpture so appealing to collectors. The figure is distinguished by its graceful pose, carefully modelled forms and expressive silhouette. The hand-finished bronze surface enhances the sculptural details, while the rich patina lends warmth and depth to the composition. Mounted on a polished marble base, the sculpture combines artistic elegance with a substantial presentation. Its distinctive proportions make it a striking addition to a private collection, an executive office or an interior inspired by the glamour of the Art Deco period. This sculpture is a reproduction after Demetre Chiparus (1886–1947), offering a decorative interpretation inspired by the artistic legacy of one of the movement’s best-known sculptors.
