All auctions / Miscellaneous / Scheurich - Vase - Height: 55 cm - Fat lava
Splendid and monumental vintage art ceramic floor vase, created in the 1970s by the renowned German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik (model number 284-55). The piece is a classic example of the Fat Lava style, characterized by a rich, mineral and volcanic glaze. The finish showcases a complex layering of earth tones: ochre, beige, and dark brown hues created with a foamy, crusty relief glaze that yields an exceptional visual and tactile impact. Thanks to its imposing height (55 cm), this piece represents an iconic interior decor element for spaces in Mid-Century Modern, Brutalist, or contemporary styles. Conditions: The item presents in excellent cosmetic condition, free of cracks, chips, or restoration work. A rare piece for its size and state of preservation, ready to enrich a private collection or a design space. Shipping and Packaging: I guarantee professional and exceptionally careful packaging, with abundant high-thickness protective material, given the piece’s value and fragility.
