Technique: Resin and marble powder Measurements: H13 x L15 x P13 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition 100ex A simple, recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The little bear, a symbol of affection and protection, retains its form but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to experience lightly. The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What from afar seems familiar becomes distant up close, almost inaccessible. Thus a direct contrast is created between what we know and what we see. The piece plays precisely on this tension: on one hand it attracts, on the other it keeps at a distance. In this way, an image linked to childhood is reinterpreted in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring. SHIPPING INSURED! Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between study as a Geometer and Architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan who makes resin sculptures.
