In the foreground the sea reveals itself in all its purity: the waters are turquoise and crystal-clear. Right at the center of the composition, near the horizon line, a small white sailboat is cut in, serving as the perfect focal point, giving a sense of scale to the vast marine space and accentuating the feeling of peace, calm and immensity. Sangiorgio Manuela develops a painting practice centered on reinterpretations of landscapes, city views and figurative scenes through a visual language based on color and the construction of atmospheres.
