San Diego, California. $20 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 650. First NB. Charter #3050. PCGS Currency Very Fine 25. A survivor of commercial channels. This evenly circulated $20 Plain Back issued by the First National Bank of San Diego (Charter# 3050) before 1924 offers much that can be appreciated by collectors. From the deceptive rarity of this institution despite the population recorded by the National Bank Note Census to attractive signatures attributable to Cashier George S. Pickrell and President F.J. Belcher, (Jr.) no shortage of pleasing qualities are demonstrated which should carry this note to a strong realization by the time bidding has ended. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Estimate:$480
