Interesting and curious unique work by the great Master SALVO (Salvatore Mangione) Title: Untitled Technique: colored markers on paper Actual size: 31 x 21 cm Date of execution: 2003 Signature and dedication by the artist on the front This is a small drawing that Master Salvo executed on letterhead paper from the Galleria Pio Monti, depicting a poem curated by Nicola Monti, to which the drawing is dedicated. As reported on the authenticity certificate of Galleria Pio Monti, which is provided for accompaniment, the poem reproduced on the sheet was presented on the occasion of a Salvo exhibition held in 2003 at the Trevi Flash Art Museum. On the paper, in addition to the artist’s double signature, are the signatures of Pio Monti (with a dedication to his son Nicola), Giancarlo Politi (Director of the famous art magazine FlashArt), and the eminent critic, Prof. Luca Beatrice. The drawing, as seen in the photo, is published in color in the poetry book “(Poet)astro,” written by Nicola Monti and published in 2003 on the occasion of Salvo’s exhibition (a catalog supplied with the work). Also regarding the aforementioned Salvo show, the catalog of the artist’s works is provided, which on the first page highlights Salvo’s autograph dedication to Nicola Monti.
