10 Fondue Plates / Compartments – St Clément, Model "Sologne" – Fine Earthenware in Stoneware style, Hand-painted cobalt blue decoration Description: 10 oval fondue plates (6 compartments) from the famous French manufacturer Saint-Clément. Produced during the 1960s-1970s, this model, named "Sologne", rides the rustic trend of the era: it is a fine earthenware worked with a matte speckled glaze that perfectly imitates stoneware. The intense cobalt blue decoration is hand-painted with a brush, depicting stylized floral and botanical motifs that are very bright. The oval shape is ideally compartmentalized for fondue (Burgundian, Savoyarde), meat grill, raclette, barbecue, or tapas presentation (central compartment for meats/main foods, side compartments for sauces and accompaniments). • Manufacturer: Saint-Clément (France) • Model: Sologne (mold number 2 on the back) • Era: Circa 1960-1970 • Quantity: 10 pieces • Unit dimensions: 26 cm (Length) x 21 cm (Width) x 2 cm (Height) • Net weight of dinnerware: 6.875 kg • Condition: Good vintage condition overall with superb gloss of the glaze and cobalt blue. Note some slight original firing irregularities (such as tri-pod oven marks on the back and discreet internal firing lines on some dividers), normal and typical of this handcrafted production, which attest to its handmade manufacture. All pieces bear the clearly printed backstamp "St Clément France". 2 or 3 tiny chips, all shown in the photos. An ideal service for large, convivial, warm gatherings, highly sought after in this cobalt blue color variant. A double-wall (cardboard) ultra-secure packaging will be arranged for shipment (with individual protection for each plate). Important note regarding the visuals: The very first photo of the listing is an AI-generated illustration image. Its sole purpose is to stage the plates and inspire a warm festive dining ambiance (fondue, meat grill…). However, all subsequent photos are the real lot’s original, strictly unretouched shots. They were taken under neutral natural light to accurately present the condition, signature details, and the small artisanal firing irregularities of each piece, with complete transparency.
