For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating. The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept. What for decades had been “only” a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his craft into a language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.
