Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life has roots in masterful artisan craft. For forty years he worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and electroplating. The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always guarded. What for decades had been simply a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, pop sculptures full of irony. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a language of contemporary art recognized by the art world, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Title - I'm Sorry Resin - Hand-signed - 2025 Technique: resin and marble powder Measurements: 44x36x4 cm Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed. Edition: limited edition 299 pieces - Monna Lisa - SILVER On the back of the sculpture there is a convenient hook to hang it on the wall. The work will be carefully packed and shipped with a tracked courier. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Notably, he has appeared at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaborated with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and his works have been included in the renowned private collection Fuser. From artisan to a signature in the Neo-Pop panorama, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not merely an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the lineage of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of daily life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of completely manual craftsmanship. It is advisable not to expose to heat sources; clean without using detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
