Sagrasse (1966) - Alcohol Test

Sagrasse (1966) - Alcohol Test

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the hills of Marche, mastering resin work, painting, and chrome at the highest levels. The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had kept inside for so long. What for decades had been “only” an area of technical excellence thus becomes the means to bring to life vibrant and ironic modern pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his know‑how as a craftsman into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Description Sagrasse - Alcohol test Technique: resin and marble powder Dimensions: 45x37x5 cm Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - handwritten signature. Edition: limited edition 299ex- Leonardo The work will be carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking courier. In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centro d'Arte e Cultura VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to sign of the Neo-Pop panorama, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from functional constraints, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly into the trajectory of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual加工. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
