S.T. Dupont - D-Initial - Fountain pen

The fountain pen presents a very good overall condition, with careful aesthetics and a level of conservation aligned with responsible use. The body in black lacquer retains a deep, uniform shine, with extremely light signs of use visible only under close inspection, without material loss or structural defects. The gold elements (clip, central band, and termini) retain an excellent appearance, with a bright and homogeneous shine, showing only minimal superficial marks due to use and the passage of time, without significant wear of the plating. The cap fits correctly via a press-fit system, ensuring a firm and functional closure. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment, with no play. The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, with no deformities or visible damage. The feed has been inspected, guaranteeing proper ink flow and a smooth, continuous writing. The pen has been tested and serviced, and is fully operational and ready for immediate use. Care recommendations It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. If not used for prolonged periods, clean with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the system gently to preserve proper functioning. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
