Ryuka 2023 3 years old Ghost Series #26 - Shinzato Shuzo - b. 2026 - 700ml

A rare and highly limited Japanese single malt from Suzaki Distillery in Okinawa, released as Ghost Series #26, a special single-cask selection curated by Japanese whisky expert Stefan van Eycken. The whisky was distilled in June 2023 and bottled in July 2026 after reaching 3 years of maturation. It was matured in a 2nd-fill Spanish oak hogshead and bottled at 50% ABV. Only 328 bottles were produced. Ghost Series #26 is particularly interesting because it represents one of the early single-cask releases from Suzaki Distillery, operated by Shinzato Shuzo, an Okinawan distillery with roots dating back to 1846. The whisky was selected after tasting cask samples by Stefan van Eycken and the team at Aloha Whisky Bar.
