V. Judina (Russian Contemporary School) - "Winter Twilight: Return to the Cottage" This touching oil on panel perfectly captures the hushed, magical atmosphere of Eastern European winters. It features two silhouettes (a mother and child, or two walkers) advancing along a snowy path toward a warmly lit country house. The artist shows great sensitivity in handling light: the contrast between the cold night falling (expressed by a superb gradient of deep blues and purples in the forest of bare trees) and the radiant, comforting golden glow emanating from the window is striking. The textures of the snow piled on the roof and shrubs are rendered with lively brushstrokes, adding substantial body and relief to this panel. An intimate work, full of nostalgia and poetry, ideal for creating a soft and warm atmosphere. Characteristics: • Artist: V. Judina (Yudina), contemporary Eastern European painter. • Technique: Oil on panel (wood or strong artist board) • Dimensions: 23 x 33 cm (cabinet format, ideal for small spaces or a collection of frames) • Signature: Clearly, cursive and highly visible at the bottom right: "V. Judina". • Condition: Excellent overall condition. The painted surface is perfectly stable, blue and white pigments are very dense and fresh. Work ready to be framed. (Traces of an old frame on the edges) Careful packing and tracked shipping.
