A special and original specimen of the flag of the Soviet Union (USSR), produced in January 1983 in Domodedovo, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union. The flag is executed in the characteristic red design with the golden hammer and sickle, crowned by the red star with a golden outline. This symbol stood for the Soviet state and the communist ideology and was used on official flags throughout the entire Soviet period. What is special about this specimen is the still-present original factory label. It lists, among other things, the production site Domodedovo, the production date January 1983, the size 110 × 56 cm, the designation ФЛАГ СССР (flag of the USSR) and the Soviet quality standard GOST 19390-74. It also notes quality 1 (Сорт 1). The original price was 2 rubles and 80 kopeks. The flag bears clear signs of aging and use, appropriate for an original piece from the Soviet era.
