RSC Anderlecht Matchworn Jersey 1990 vs BVB | #16 Verheyen UEFA Cup / Adidas Vintage For sale is an absolute rarity for jersey collectors and football historians: An original, game-worn (Matchworn) away jersey of the Belgian top club RSC Anderlecht from the 1990/1991 season. This jersey comes from one of the most legendary UEFA Cup duels of the 1990s: - Match: Borussia Dortmund vs. RSC Anderlecht (2:1) - Date: 12.12.1990 (Round of 16 second leg at the Westfalenstadion) - Back number: #16 - Player: Worn by Gert Verheyen (Belgian striker legend) Special story about the jersey: The jersey comes from a shirt swap immediately after the final whistle. Gert Verheyen was substituted in for Luis Oliveira in the 65th minute. On the Dortmund side, Robert Nikolic came on in the 66th minute. The two substitutes swapped jerseys on the pitch after the match. An absolutely honest, historically verifiable match-worn piece! Details & Condition: - Brand: Adidas (Original Vintage with Trefoil logo) - Sponsor: Legendary "G" Flock (GIB Group) - Special feature: "Made in Belgium" (see original neck and wash tag) - Back number: Back number 16 in period-typical, thick velvet flock - Condition: Excellent, age-appropriate condition. The fabric shines beautifully, the flocks and logos are extremely well preserved. No notable damage or holes. An authentic piece of European Cup history! As this is a private sale, the sale is conducted with all warranty, guarantee, or return excluded.
