From the historic complex of the Qu'Appelle Anglican diocese in Regina is this large swell-bodied tin rooster weathervane in original silver-grey paint. The chantecler proudly adorned one of the red-brick, Gothic-inspired buildings that served as the base for educational and missionary activities in southern Saskatchewan in the early 20th century. Constructed in soldered tin with some stippling detail on the head and with the original mounting pole and conical roof mount. Saskatchewan, circa 1920.
