Maunder Watch Co are pleased to offer this exceptional Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 116719BLRO. Introduced in 2014, the Ref. 116719BLRO marked the return of the iconic red and blue ‘Pepsi’ bezel to the GMT-Master II and was the first Rolex to feature the combination in Cerachrom ceramic. This particular example dates from 2018 and features the considerably rarer blue dial configuration. Introduced towards the end of production, the blue dial replaced the black dial fitted to earlier examples and was available for only a short period before the Ref. 116719BLRO was succeeded by the new-generation 126719BLRO. Crafted entirely in 18ct white gold, the watch features a 40mm Oyster case, red and blue Cerachrom 24-hour bezel and white-gold Oyster bracelet. The blue dial is complemented by luminous hour markers and hands, a date display at 3 o’clock and the signature GMT hand for displaying a second time zone. Powered by Rolex’s self-winding Calibre 3186, this example is particularly noteworthy for remaining in New Old Stock condition, having never been worn. it comes with it’s original box and paperwork, dated 2018. Combining the short-lived blue dial with its 2018 production date and exceptional NOS condition, this represents a particularly rare opportunity to acquire one of the final and most distinctive iterations of the original white-gold ceramic ‘Pepsi’ GMT-Master II.
