Rare Vintage Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz | reference 17000 | in steel | serial number 6.011.xxx | produced in 1979 | diameter of 36 mm | Rolex Quartz Caliber 5035 was serviced by our master watchmaker in February 2026 | battery was also replaced | thoroughly cleaned after the photos were taken | inner circumference of the bracelet is approx. 18.8 cm (adjustable in the clasp) | rare and special “MK 1” or “three liner” version | only “Oysterquartz” on the dial above 6 o'clock | the dial has a beautiful bright blue color which can also take on a purple tone depending on the angle of the sunlight | another absolute collector's dream is the unpolished original condition of this Oysterquartz | such a condition is extremely difficult to find nowadays.
