Rodolphe Muret, Letters on some of the inconveniences attached to the practice of medicine and on the means of removing them, printed by Louis Perrin, found with Charles Béchet and Millon Jeune, Paris and Lyon, 1829. Very rare, interesting and amusing essay (often becoming a pamphlet) by a physician practicing in the countryside. A sharp critique of rural superstitions and rural prejudices, but also of urbanites. Moral and political reflections also on the condition of the physician. A highly entertaining social critique, published just before the Revolution of 1830.
