Robert Butler (American, 1943-2014) Florida Highwaymen Panoramic Oil

An exceptional panoramic landscape by acclaimed Florida Highwayman Robert Butler, rendered in oil on canvas. The composition opens with a detailed foreground of a marshy waterway, teeming with green lily pads and yellow blossoms. The eye is drawn past a gathering of white birds on a grassy bank toward dramatic mid-ground trees, thickly layered with Spanish moss via textured impasto brushwork. A serene sky of muted gray and pale pink completes the scene, which bears a faint signature in the lower right. Dimensions: 32"W x 12"H Weight: 1.15 lbs Condition Request Condition Report Good.
