Heavy silver cabaret, made by Robert Abercomby of London. He was active from 1731 to 1745. Robert Abercomby specialized in making large silverware, mainly trays and cabarets. The cabaret (tray on legs) is finely decorated with scroll and floral motifs. (Georgian style) It bears the 1st quality mark, London city mark, the maker's mark RA and the date letter f for 1741. In the center of the cabaret is engraved a family crest with three shields. The cabaret is robustly and heavily made and in excellent condition. Weight: 1148 grams. Diameter: 36 cm.
