Estello aux Lavandes “Estello aux Lavandes” is a decorative ceramic composition made up of 12 individual tiles (4 × 3), forming a piece roughly 45 × 60 cm when assembled. The tiles are delivered separately and are neither glued nor mounted on a backing. Each tile is independent, giving the buyer complete freedom to choose their installation method. The artwork can be: - laid directly on a wall, with or without grout depending on the desired effect; - integrated into a backsplash or a wall decoration; - framed; - or fixed to the support of its choice. Each tile is carefully protected in an individual sachet before being packed for transport to guarantee optimal protection. Description of the work This original creation draws on the aesthetics of European Art Nouveau and pays tribute to the softness of Provençal landscapes. At the center of the composition, a young woman holds a bouquet of lavender, a symbol of serenity, light, and Mediterranean tradition. Her peaceful gaze is surrounded by rich floral ornamentation with sinuous lines, characteristic of Art Nouveau. The shades of blue, ivory, lavender, and golden nuances form a harmonious palette evoking the perfumed fields of southern France. Inspired by the major decorative currents of the late 19th century, this work offers a contemporary interpretation where botanical motifs, arabesques, and circular composition emphasize timeless elegance. It will naturally find its place in a classic or contemporary interior, bringing a refined and Mediterranean atmosphere. Manufacturing Each tile is produced individually in our workshop in France using a high-definition sublimation process on premium matte ceramic. The pigments are transferred at high temperature and under strong pressure to achieve excellent detail, deep colors, and remarkable longevity. Creating a complete composition requires about four hours of work, including décor creation, colorimetric adjustments, file preparation, individual pressing of the twelve tiles, and quality control.
